Who Is This Workshop For?

IT MIGHT BE FOR ME IF:

– I've hit some major road blocks and I feel stuck in my business journey. I feel ill-prepared and uninspired for the next season and I'm not moving in the direction I want to go.

– I need to move faster and feel more confident in my designing.

– I'm struggling to turn a profit, or at least the profit that I want, and I'm feeling a lot of weight and pressure to succeed and get this all figured out but I have no idea where to start.

– I need some dedicated focus on the face of my business to help me appeal to my ideal clients, to help me jump these paint points and hurtles in my designing, and to help me feel empowered to reach my goals.

IT MIGHT NOT BE FOR ME IF:

– I feel pretty steady in my business processes, I am profitable, and I'm not struggling in my designs. I don't feel any particular urgency to take the next step or look into a course correct. (GO YOU! Just keep on keeping on).

– I'm looking for a relaxing few days away and some "me time" surrounded in flowers. (So, while we'll feed you and take care of you and be nice to you – this experience will definitely be WORK).

– I've never touched flowers and I'm just beginning to consider if flowers could be a future I should try out. (This is definitely an investment for someone who is likely already a business owner looking to take that next serious step – we recommend finding a local internship to get your feet wet and test the waters!).

Testimonials

“The thought and care you put into the program really showed. I loved every segment and learned something that I could apply to my own business in every part of each day. You are all generous, talented, consummate professionals and kind, fun individuals.

I’m still soaking it all in and know all that I learned will be with me in my work going forward for many years as I continue to shape and grow my business and design skills. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I will say with full confidence that I felt I’d already gotten my investment in the workshop within the first 2 hours.”

Ginny, Lilac & Page

"After being in business for nine years, I knew I wanted to attend a workshop that spoke to the business side of the business as well as the design side. Besides learning invaluable time saving design skills and techniques, I learned how to properly price my services and products, how to hire my weaknesses, and how to organize and streamline my ordering process. There were so many "lightbulb" and "ah-ha!" moments within the two day workshop as well as tuly raw, emotional, and vulnerable moments that served as a sort of thread that wove through and bound the hearts of our group! Not knowing who my classmates would be, I arrived to the workshop excited, eager, and slightly nervous. What I found was a group of twelve incredible people from all walks of life, backgrounds, and skill levels who began the workshop as strangers and ended as friends and design peers. Amy, Lauren, and Rachel each have a gift for teaching and for making each student feel confident, inspired, welcome, and accepted. No question went unanswered, and each optional critique was given with 100% love and intent to make us better designers!  This workshop was truly life changing for my business and for my soul!"

Stacy, Stacy Bowen Floral Design

After several years in the business I needed some time away.  As floral designers we tend to be so detail oriented that often the bigger picture can be harder to see. Their workshop allowed me to step back and visualize the bigger picture.

It was invaluable to have that chance to learn in an open and honest setting. Having attended a number of workshops and online learning, I found this workshop to be a great value and I made some great flower friends!

Thank you ladies for your guidance and unending dedication to your craft.

Katie, Macs Floral
